Thomas P. Roman
Thomas Roman was born on January 21, 1949 in Bethel, Connecticut to Sam (Pasco) and Wanda Roman. He had one sibling, Donna Roman O'Brien.
After graduating from HATS (Henry Abbott Technical School), Tom enlisted in the Army from 1968-1971. He served in Vietnam for one year within the Army Artillery Unit as a Specialist 5.
After an honorable discharge, Tom joined the Danbury Police Force and retired as a captain after 24 years of service.
Tom has one son and two grandchildren. He is currently living in West Palm Beach Florida with his spouse, Susan.

brick without a logo will sell for $150.00 and with a logo, $175.00.
A 4" x 8" brick with 1-4 lines (3 recommended) of engraving
with 21 spaces/line (18 recommended) or an 8" x 8" brick with
1-8 lines (6 recommended) of engraving with 21 spaces/line (18
recommended) can be ordered.
With the purchase of a logo, the number of lines on the 8" x
8" brick will be reduced to 6 lines. Please refer to our FAQ
page for further details.

Raymond A. Walling VFW Post 149 is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Veterans and the surrounding communities. It is the oldest VFW Post in Connecticut and one of the oldest in the United States.
The post is named after Raymond A. Walling who was a member of Battery E., 56th Coast Artillery Regiment. He was killed fighting in France on August 31, 1918. His remains currently rest in the Oise-Aisne American Cemetery located in Fere-en-Tardenois, France.
