Pasco "Sam" Roman

Sam Roman was born on November 18, 1917 in Hazelton, Pennsylvania. He moved to Connecticut to work for Remington Arms where he met his future wife and lifelong partner, Wanda Stankiewicz. Together, they moved to Bethel, CT and worked at Bard Parker for 35 years while raising their children, Donna and Thomas.

Mr. Roman served in WWII throughout Europe in the 63rd Infantry Division. He fought in many battles including the Battle of the Bulge and as a Private First Class was awarded the French Croix de Guerre for bravery along with a Distinguished Unit Badge, Victory Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He was a hero to his country and his family.

Sam died in 2006 while residing in Palm Springs, Florida.
